Chipper Jones (407, 12, 35) is having an obviously stellar year and is not showing any signs of slowing up and the times you get him out he still hits it hard. i think he can hit 400

He is already heading to cooperstown but if he were to end up with a .400 AVG than that would just be awesome.

Chipper

I'm wondering if his new injury will affect him? I imagine it will as it's hard to just be out of the lineup for that long without seeing major league pitches. It might not be all that bad though as interleague play is coming up and he can DH in those games if needed. I'll be rooting for Chipper to keep his .400 batting average alive throughout the year.

Im sure it won't effect him too much. This is the same nagging injury he has had for a while. Just give him a couple of days.

Chipper

Even when he was up around .420 I wasn't sure that he could keep it up. In my opinion, Chipper is the 2nd best hitter in the game (Pujols) but I dont think anyone will touch 400 in the near future. I think chipper will finish around .365
